Peter Nero and Philly Pops to perform free concert at Independence Hall In what has become one of Philadelphia's most famous Fourth of July traditions, Peter Nero and the Philly Pops will return to celebrate America’s birthday in a special “POPS on Independence” performance in front of Independence Hall in Independence National Historical Park on Friday, July 2 at 8:30 p.m.
“Thanks to the generous support of good corporate citizens such as Amway Global, we can continue to provide high quality, free, family-friendly entertainment for the Wawa Welcome America! festival. Peter Nero and the Philly POPS is a wonderful part of the festival and is always a highly anticipated concert each year,” said Mayor Nutter.
